<![CDATA[The EMpower scheme aims to give Environmental MSc students, who would not necessarily consider employment in the industry, exposure to the Nuclear Sector through research project placements. It brings together students, academics and the Nuclear Industry through research projects and a high-profile Lecture Day held in early October each year. The 2008 lecture day event will act as a show-case for the pilot scheme which was launched at the beginning of this year.
